The study, published in the journal Applied In Vitro Toxicology, analysed my blu vapour (1.6% nicotine tobacco flavour) to determine if changes in the aerosol chemical composition impacted its toxicity compared to conventional cigarette smoke (3R4F Kentucky reference cigarette) and found the following: Phase #1: To analyse the composition of the vapour, researchers measured 44 analytes including some of notable public health interest (such as toxicants and known carcinogens like carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and tobacco specific nitrosamines)
